Stockton Cycling Festival
Three great days out at the Stockton Cycle Festival
A FREE family festival and professional cycle racing.
The Stockton Cycling Festival runs from the 13 – 15 July and is three days of jam packed cycling activity, culminating in the FREE Family Festival Day on the Sunday. Use our journey planner to plan your car-free route to TS18.
Day one: HSBC UK National Circuit Championships
Date: Friday 13 July 2018
Time: 6.00 am – 9.00 am
Come and see some of the top professional riders as they race around the town centre circuit in Stockton.
Day two: Stockton Sportive
Date: Saturday 14 July 2018
Time: 8.00 am – 5.30 pm
Cost: £20 – 27.50 depending on your route

Cyclists of all abilities are invited to take part in a 36 to 106 mile ride, starting from Stockton Riverside. From the fairly flat ‘SPIN’ ride that will suit recreational riders who haven’t done a Sportive like this before, through two more levels to the ‘Tour de Moor’ ride for experienced cyclists which includes 11,000 feet of climbing!
The route is signposted and there are food and drink stops as well as support cars and motorbikes out to ensure you are kept safe.

Day three: FREE Family Festival Day
Date: Sunday 15 July 2018
From 8.30 am to 5 pm there will be free activities on offer including cycle displays and stunts, a climbing wall and crazy golf.
Come and see the Let's Go Tees Valley team at the family festival day and try out our free pedal powered velodrome race game!
Watch some of the country’s best cyclists compete in the Stockton Grand Prix race from 8.30 am. There is Youth Racing as part of the North East Youth League between 9 and 10.30 am.
Take part in the riverside Ride Stockton event. This is FREE, open to anyone and perfect for families so cycle into town if you can. There are some great prizes on offer and registration is on the day.
The Extreme Bike Battle takes place throughout the day. It is an impressive contest between some of the UK’s best stunt riders as well as FREE coaching sessions!
