About the walks
You will find details of the walks along with numbers to call to book in the Walking Festival booklet on Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council’s website. If you miss the festival there are also links to local walks you can do on your own or with friends and family.
Walks include routes along both coast and country, history walks (the one that caught our eye being 900 years of history in less than a mile!) as well as an insect walk, nightjar walk and a mindfulness walk.
Walks take place during the week as well as a few on the weekend. Places are limited to it is best to book as soon as possible. You can plan your car-free journey to the walk locations using the travel planner on this site.
