Getting involved in Darlington
Group walk leaders
Do you have a passion for walking that you'd like to share with other people? We are working with Sustrans to provide walk leader training for people like you. Once you have completed training you will be able to lead your own groups and get even more local people walking!
Group walking activities
Anyone can get involved in walking, building up your fitness is a great way to build more walking into your every day life. Group walking activities include short, brisk walks in South Park (dogs welcome), litter picking walks, seasonal walks as well as the ever popular food picking walks.
By getting involved with Groundwork you can also help to keep walking routes in Darlington clear of litter and safe for people to use. It's a great way to get more active in your community.
