Let's Go set to work in Middlesbrough

We were out and about in Middlesbrough today meeting local people as part of our personal travel planning services.
We were joined by Gary Philipson from BBC Tees. You can hear more about our work with local residents, job seekers and students on Gary’s show this evening between 4 and 6pm.
Look out for our travel advisors coming to a doorstep near you!
We’re visiting homes in Coulby Newham and Nunthorpe throughout April, May and June with useful information on bus and rail services as well as walking and cycling maps.
Last year more than 3,600 Tees Valley residents, including 1,200 job seekers were advised on greener travel by one of our travel advisors.
Don't forget: we're recruiting for a travel advisor (closes 29th April)
More travel choices for work, school and fun
We will also be at Middlesbrough JobCentre Plus to help people get to job and training opportunities by opening up their travel options.
Michael Lawton from Middlesbrough Council was with us today.
"This is great news for Middlesbrough residents and, in particular, commuters, job seekers and students."
Find out more about car-free travel options in your area.
Keeping Middlesbrough's One Planet Living Status
"The more travel options you know about, the more flexibility you have when choosing where to work, study or shop. It’s having programmes such as this that helps support Middlesbrough’s ambitions and also maintains its One Planet Living status."
Choosing greener travel options is vital to tackle traffic congestion, air quality and public health throughout the UK.
Let's Go - why we'd like you to come with us Tees Valley
Let’s Go Tees Valley equips people who live and work in the Tees Valley to get where they need to be without having to rely on a car; providing more opportunities to walk, cycle, car-share and use public transport.
