Walking is great for your mind and your health. Bike Stop, Groundwork and Healthy Darlington are working together to help Darlington become a happier, healthier place to live and work.

They are offering a range of free walks around the Darlington area, at a pace to suit you. All ages and levels of ability are welcome. Walks are between one and a half and two hours long.

Wednesday morning walks in Darlington, 10.00 am

12 September: Broken Scar, meet at the picnic area
19 September: Low Coniscliffe, meet near the Baydale Beck pub
26 September: Whinfield, meet at the bottom of Glebe Road
