Travel safely this winter!

Whether you cycle, walk, drive or travel by public transport there are things you can do to make sure you're winter savvy!

Throughout November and December we'll be posting top winter travel tips on our Facebook page. Plus we're running a cool Shining Example competition to win some bike lights and cycling gear, so be sure to click through to the competition page.

Did you know it's a legal requirement to have front and rear bike lights switched on during sunset to sunrise? This is so that others can see you, as well as lighting up your path, keep all road users safe in the winter.

If you'd like to speak to an expert about how to stay safe while walking or cycling during the winter, contact your local active travel hub.
